Senior year is over, and Lucy has the perfect way to celebrate: tonight, she's going to find Shadow, the mysterious graffiti artist whose work appears all over the city. He's out there somewhere—spraying color, spraying birds and blue sky on the night—and Lucy knows a guy who paints like Shadow is someone she could fall for. Really fall for. Instead, Lucy's stuck at a party with Ed, the guy she's managed to avoid since the most awkward date of her life. But when Ed tells her he knows where to find Shadow, they're suddenly on an all-night search around the city. And what Lucy can't see is the one thing that's right before her eyes.

My Thoughts:

This book. This book! I had heard amazing things about it from friends. I had an e-galley. I bought the audiobook. Still, for some reason I didn’t read it. Since I’ve recently made a push to read review books I missed I decided to check out the audio of this one. I am kicking myself for waiting so long! I could have been re-reading and re-reading this one all this time! It. Is. Excellent.

As I said, I began to read this one via audio. It is so well done. Multiple narrators, great pacing, super good all around. However, I feel so quickly and desperately in love with the story that I simply could not wait for the audio to be done. About a third of the way in I broke down and grabbed the book off the shelf at my library. I flew through it. I simply could not bear to be parted from the story!

I don’t even know where to begin with my love for this book. The multiple narrators? The graffiti? The glass blowing? The poetry? The misunderstanding? The families? The romance? The everything!!!!!

Really, I just love the characters and the way their stories unfold. I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I thought that finishing the story would do the trick. Still, I found myself thinking about it all for days afterwards.

Graffiti Moon is just so crazy beautiful. It’s a new favorite that I’m sure to re-read over and over.
