Three casinos. Three bodies. Three days.

After a string of brutal murders in Las Vegas, Cassie Hobbes and the Naturals are called in to investigate. But even with the team's unique profiling talents, these murders seem baffling: unlike many serial killers, this one uses different methods every time. All of the victims were killed in public, yet the killer does not show up on any tape. And each victim has a string of numbers tattooed on their wrist. Hidden in the numbers is a code—and the closer the Naturals come to unraveling the mystery, the more perilous the case becomes.

Meanwhile, Cassie is dealing with an equally dangerous and much more painful mystery. For the first time in years, there's been a break in her mother's case. As personal issues and tensions between the team mount, Cassie and the Naturals will be faced with impossible odds—and impossible choices.

My Thoughts:

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is one of my auto-buy authors and I super loved The Naturals and Killer Instinct. I’m not sure why I waited so long to read All In! I finally picked it up because The Naturals has become one of the most popular series in my library. Seeing my students fly through the books reminded me how much I love them. And I was not disappointed. All In was just as great as the first two!

I love how the intensity escalates as this series progresses. With each book Cassie, Dean, Sloane, Michael, and Lia get deeper and deeper into FBI cases. It seems trouble finds them not matter how hard the adults in their lives try to limit it. And the trouble in All In is bigger than anyone imagined. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say the way the events in this one relate to things in the previous books had me freaking out!

I also love how much more we get to know each of the teens with each book. Cassie is always the main player but we get deeper understandings of each person in every book. This one really focused on Sloane. Man, I just love her so much. After learning more about her history and the things she’s experienced I just wanted to hug her and tell her how great she is. And it’s not only the teens we get to know better. Little by little we understand the adults in their lives as well. I cannot wait to see what’s revealed in Bad Blood!

I highly recommend this series. Yes, there’s the creepy serial killer aspect that typically is too much for me. However, in this series the pacing, characters, and storytelling are so stellar that it’s worth it to me!
