So, I recently got back from the amazing RT Convention. It was so much fun and I just cannot even express how much I love all the authors who attend! I went right back to work where I was running a book fair, doing book talks almost everyday, and working on collecting teachers old iPads and issuing new ones. It’s been a crazy week! And to top it all off, I leave for BEA today directly after work! CRAZY SAUCE! I’m so excited to be going (I went once way back in 2011) and cannot wait to see everyone! Why am I telling you all this? Three reasons.
1. I know! I fail at blogging lately. Every year I underestimate how crazy busy the end of the school year will be. Sorry! Hopefully after school is out I’ll be more faithful.
2. I am terrible at recognizing people from the twitter pics! If you see me at BEA and we chat on twitter please say hi! I swear I’m not trying to ignore you. I might just be spacing out and staring off into space. I have a feeling I’ll be doing this a lot based on how little sleep I’m getting. I don’t bite and I love to meet new people. I just might be a little shy 🙂 If you don’t want to come up to me tweet me to say you’re there and maybe we can meet up!
3. I am usually the person sitting at home watching all the amazing BEA tweets and crying into my Diet Coke that I am not at any of the events.
