Yesterday I received an email from Random House about new YA program called First in Line. It sounds really interesting so of course I want to share the info with you. Here’s what I know about it directly from the email:

Members receive a monthly newsletter and access to locked sections of the site. This will include special behind-the-book material and author content, such as never-before-seen deleted scenes, extended excerpts, author videos and Q&As, sharable social images, and advance reader’s copy giveaways!

The inaugural books that are being featured include: New York Times bestselling author James Dashner’s THE GAME OF LIVES, New York Times bestselling author David Levithan’s ANOTHER DAY, bestselling and critically acclaimed authors Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff’s ILLUMINAE, debut author Nicola Yoon’s EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, and more!

We invite you to join now at www.firstinlinereaders.com! And, don’t forget to share your FIRST IN LINE moments with hashtag#FIRSTINLINE. Tell your friends, teens, and colleagues to secure THEIR place in line at www.firstinlinereaders.com.

Obviously the first thing I did after reading that was head to www.firstinlinereaders.com. I really liked the look of the site and the idea behind it so I joined. This month the member section features Everything, Everything. This is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year so I was thrilled to learn a bit more about the author and enter a giveaway for an awesome tote and signed print! I haven’t gotten a newsletter yet (since I just signed up!) but I can tell I’m going to like this program already!

If it sounds like something you might be interested in, head to www.firstinlinereaders.com and join now! Also, enter the rafflecopter below to win a First in Line tote bag! (US only) Thanks to Random House for supplying the tote bag.

I like to see the first chapter of a new book, or read a quote from the main character, it’s exciting to view! I also like to see the cover of a new YA book, it brings a whole new level of excitement because I could imagine and think about the story that will be told. YA books mean everything to me! It makes me happy! So when authors provide a glimpse at a special feature of their new YA book, it is a true highlight and amazing in every way!!! Thank you for this awesome giveaway!

Thanks so much for posting about this. I saw it on Twitter a week or so ago, but the signup didn’t work for me and then I forgot about it. It worked today! I’m just about to read Everything Everything anyway, so I can’t wait to read more about it!
