Welcome to the next stop on the blog tour for this adventure ends by Emma Mills. I really enjoyed Mills’ debut novel, First & Then so I couldn’t wait to dive into this one! If you check out my review you can see that I loved this adventure ends even more!
About the Book:
Sloane isn’t expecting to fall in with a group of friends when she moves from New York to Florida—especially not a group of friends so intense, so in love, so all-consuming. Yet that’s exactly what happens.
Sloane becomes closest to Vera, a social-media star who lights up any room, and Gabe, Vera’s twin brother and the most serious person Sloane’s ever met. When a beloved painting by the twins’ late mother goes missing, Sloane takes on the responsibility of tracking it down, a journey that takes her across state lines—and ever deeper into the twins’ lives.
Filled with intense and important friendships, a wonderful warts-and-all family, shiveringly good romantic developments, and sharp, witty dialogue, this story is about finding the people you never knew you needed.
Guest Post:
In this adventure ends Sloane ends up taking a few small road trips. As you may know, I love me a good road trip! Of course I wanted to know what Emma Mills’ road trip essentials are!
Road Trip Essentials
– Music: I love making playlists! Each time I take a road trip to visit my family back home, I make a new driving playlist. My favorite artists at the moment are The Front Bottoms, the Rural Alberta Advantage, and Wild Child. But I like eclectic mixes too. Some good top 40 hits, some nineties favorites (Spice Girls, NSYNC, Third Eye Blind, Vertical Horizon!) are always fun to include!
– Snacks: My road trip favorites include Diet Dr. Pepper and Pizza Combos. But I have to have something sweet too— I love Skittles, Starbursts (the little ones that come unwrapped so you don’t have to worry about that when driving!), and Twizzlers.
– Podcasts: I’ve got to have podcasts to list to on the road! Some of my favorites are Call Chelsea Peretti, Dear Hank and John, Psychobabble with Tyler Oakler and Korey Kuhl, and How Did This Get Made.
– Good company: That just makes a road trip so much more fun, right?
Thanks so much, Emma! I totally agree on all of the above 🙂
