Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn’t
This year I was way better about keeping up with books thanks to my monthly TBR. Still, there are way more than ten that I’m embarrassed I didn’t get to. Here are the ones I have on my list to read ASAP!
- Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas: What?!?! How have I not read this? Honestly, I think I’m a bit intimidated by it! I need a weekend where I have no plans so I can just read, read, read! I hope to get to it this month.
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell: I just bought the audiobook of this one and I cannot wait to listen to it. I loved listening to Fangirl.
- All In by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: This one just came in for my school library and I’m totally snagging it before my students get it! The perks of being a librarian.
- The Rose Society by Marie Lu: I’m featuring Legend at school this year so there’s really no exciuse for missing this one!
- The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand: I was so looking forward to this one! I had all of 2015 and I never got to it. That’s just silly.
- Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli: I KNOW! Shame on me! Especially since it just won the William C. Morris Award!
- Until the Beginning by Amy Plum: I love Amy Plum and I was so caught up in the first book. I need to get to this!
- The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh: Ugh. I was so excited about this one. How did I not read it?
- I Crawl Through It by A.S. King: I always love A.S. King’s books but for some reason it always takes me awhile to get to them. I think I need to be in a certain mood for them.
- Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner: I don’t feel as bad about this one since it was a December release. It’s next up in my audiobook list 🙂

So many of these were on my 2015 to-read list too! I have read The Last Time We say Goodbye and Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and they were two of my favorite novels of the year. I was really surprised by the former because I never really thought Cynthia Hand was my type of writer, but that just goes to show what assumptions will get you! Now I want to read everything she has written. Definitely want to read most all of the others, and even checked out The Wrath & the Dawn, I Crawl Through It, and Carry On from my library at some point during the year but just never got to them.
