Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait to Get
There are so, so many! Also, I am the worst at starting a series but never finishing it! I plan to run a monthly feature next year where I finish at least one series I’ve started per month! These will just be added to the list!
Lion Heart by A.C. Gaughen Scarlet, #3: I was late to the game reading Scarlet and then I waited a bit to read Lady Thief. I don’t know how the people who read them right when they came out did it!!! I need book three NOW!
Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray, The Diviners #2: So, so, so creepy and delightful. I hope this one has the same audiobook narrator. Book one was excellent on audio!
Fairest by Marissa Meyer, The Lunar Chronicles #4: Also, Winter! One of my very favorite series!!!
The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead, Bloodlines #6: I’ve help off on reading book five until I can get my hands on this one. I love this series even more than Vampire Academy.
We Can Work It Out by Elizabeth Eulberg, The Lonely Hearts Club #2: Yes, yes, yes! Love Elizabeth’s books and I cannot wait to get more from these characters.
The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson, The Remnant Chronicles #2: Gah!!!!! Need it now!
Manners & Mutiny by Gail Carriger, Finishing School #4: So sad this series is ending but I can’t wait to see where Sophronia ends up.
The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick, My Life Next Door #2: HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS WAS COMING!?!?!?!?!? I love My Life Next Door something fierce. Cannot wait!
The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson, Shades of London, #3: Another one where I haven’t read the previous one but I’m dying for more. I want to read them together so I minimize then nights I cannot sleep from fear!
Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story by David Levithan, Will Grayson, Will Grayson #2: Do I really need to explain this one? TINY COOPER!!!
Bonus Round: There are two books that I desperately want to have sequels but they aren’t in the works. The first is The Season by Sarah MacLean. Book one focuses on Alex but I want books for Ella and Vivi, too! The other is Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White. I need Eleanor to have her own book!
Bonus Bonus Round: Upcoming books from Sarah Dessen and Miranda Keneally aren’t really sequels but they’re part of the same world as their other books so I’m mentioning them here. NEED!!
Not Included: Books that are untitled. For example, book four of The Raven Cycle or book four of Throne of Glass would top this list!! Also, This Shattered World because I already have it and The Winner’s Crime because I already read it 🙂

I so need to read the other two Finishing School books. I loved the first one. It was so darn cute! The audiobook is fabulous too.

Lion Heart!! I need this book…I refuse to read Lady Thief until I know that LH is near as I’ve heard things…and I know how Gaughen ends things…and I just need this one in my life.
I would also love a sequel for the Season but I don’t think its going to happen based on comments I’ve read from Sarah MacLean…so I take small consolation in “bumping into” Freddie Stanhope from time to time while reading her adult romances.

I haven’t read Scarlet yet, so that book made my list. Most readers seem to have Fairest or Winter on their lists, though!
