“Recommended by…” is a monthly feature in which an awesome bookish person recommends a book that I just have to read. It’s posted in two parts. Part one is the intro to the recommender and the recommendation. Part two posts later in the month and recaps my thoughts on the book.
The Recommender:
This month is a little different! Many of you know that I’m a middle school librarian. I absolutely love my job! My very favorite part of it is talking books with my students. I love sharing books I love and getting recommendations back from them. And boy do they have recommendations! Every summer I try to read as many books that students recommended as I can. I thought that making one of them an official “Recommended by…”would be kind of fun! So, this months book is the one that my students most recommend but I haven’t read yet!
The Recommendation:

What?!?! How have I not read this one yet?!?! My students have been recommending it for years and I’ve been meaning to read it! It seems like every time I pick it up a student wants to read it so I give it to them. Obviously summer is the perfect time! I can hoard all the library books!!!! Also, with the movie coming out I need to get it read!

I have read The Maze Runner! Honestly, I was a fan. I read it like back in 2010 and found it to be a pretty fun read.
