Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon

Ten? Bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yeah, right. I sat down to think about this and had over twenty off the top of my head. Since I am a cheater I’m totally listing fifteen!

1. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen – Obviously. Darcy. Bingley. All of the swoons.

2. Anna and the French Kiss (and Lola and the Boy Next Door) by Stephanie Perkins – These books make my heart happy every time I read them. Pretty sure I sigh with contentment as I read the last page! Also, some of the best acknowledgments, too!

3. Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood – This book contains one of my favorite kissing scenes of all time! And it’s in a bookstore!!!

4. Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols (or really any of her books!) – I love the romantic drama books! Totally makes me swoon (in books anyway!)

5. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – Ohmystars. Swoony swoon swoon on the slow burn with this one. It’s sweet and delightful and I loved every second.

6. The Fault in our Stars by John Green – Yes, it will break your heart. But it will also make you swoon. Augustus Waters is a pretty smooth guy 🙂

7. Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare – This is my favorite series of hers and I’m pretty sure it’s because of Tessa and Will. Love the swoons.

8. If I Stay/Where She Went by Gayle Forman – Where She Went is the swoonier of the two but you really need to read If I Stay to get the full effect! Adam forever and ever.

9. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen – This is another author where I could have put any of her books here. I just have a special place in my heart for Owen 🙂

10. My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick – Oh, Jase. Oh, Samantha. Oh, THIS BOOK! So much swooning and so much love for the characters!

11. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – Chaol. That is all.

12. Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor – This is a book where I swooned over the writing style as much as the story itself. Both are gorgeous and lovely and will get in your soul!

13. Fire by Kristen Cashore – MmmmmHmmmm. Fire and Brigan. I may love them even more than Katsa and Po. But it’s pretty close on the swoon-o-meter!

14. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder – It’s from Harlequin so you know there are some swoons! And boy does Snyder bring it! Loved Yelena. And VALEK! Heck yes!

15. The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima – Han Alister is one of the most swoony boys deserving of more attention! And these books are every thing right in the bookish world!

It’s taking a GREAT DEAL of restraint to stop there. Oh, how I love books that make you swoon!
