Inside every secret, there's a world of trouble. Get ready for the second book in this new series of global proportions--from master of intrigue, New York Times bestselling author Ally Carter.

Grace's past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn't stop it, Grace isn't the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.

The twists get twistier and the turns get even more shocking in the second thrilling installment of Embassy Row.

My Thoughts:

I loved book one in this series, All Fall Down. So of course I was super excited for this one. To say I had high hopes would be an understatement. But, as a long time Ally Carter fangirl, I wasn’t worried! See How They Run totally lived up to, and even exceeded, my expectations.

First things first, the book starts of with a secret library and a secret society of fierce women… be still my heart! I am so in! Libraries and secret societies and kick-butt lady characters are some of my favorite things 🙂 It just gets better from there.

As I said in my review of book one, Grace makes for an incredibly compelling narrator. Right from the start of See How They Run you can feel her confusion and instability. She was having a hard time dealing before all the crazy stuff that went down in All Fall Down. Now? This poor girl has even more to contend with. There is so much guilt and fear and confusion and secrecy. Such an interesting character to follow (and root for!)

In true Ally Carter style this book is fast paced from the get go! The action and intrigue never stop. I loved the way the conflicts and issues in this book tied into the bigger issues that didn’t get resolved at the end of book one. I’m really looking forward to following this arc throughout the series. And the ending of this one? Oh man does it set the story up for some big things in future books!

See How They Run is not to be missed.
