Weird but true fact: I’m a huge fan of The Morganville Vampires books but have never reviewed one! What?!?! I’ve posted giveaways and promo posts but not a review. There are three main reasons. One, I read the first one before I started blogging and it just feels weird to review the others now. Two, I’m not done with the series! You guys, it’s a long series! (15 books!) And, three, sometimes I just like to read a book for fun without thinking about writing a review. The Morganville Vampires is kind of an escape for me. Anyway, why am I telling you all this? There’s a reason. I swear.
Last year there was a kickstarter to fund a Morganville Vampires web series. Now, as I said, I’m a fan of the books. I’ve also been lucky enough to meet the author, Rachel Caine, at a number of events. She is one of the kindest people you could hope to meet! Of course I wanted to support this project! And, you guys!!! It’s finally here! You can view the trailer and episodes one and two over at the Geek & Sundry youtube channel. The web series also has a new website.
