About the Book: tick, tick, tick, tick, tick
it’s almost

time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life.

My Thoughts: Oy. This book. I read it this summer and feel like I’m still processing it. One thing I know for sure, I loved it even more than Shatter Me. Also, Tahereh Mafi is freaking amazing. Okay, that was two things. See? SEE?!?! Unravel Me just makes me all flustered!

I think the thing that blew me away the most was the writing style. Tahereh Mafi does such an incredible job with voice. We really get a glimpse inside Juliette’s head. Honestly, it’s not a fabulous place to be. She is really struggling. I was amazed at how much I was drawn in and how emotionally invested I felt. It was just so atmospheric. I am totally not explaining this well. Just trust me when I say I couldn’t put the book down because I couldn’t leave the characters alone!

I loved seeing more of Juliette, Adam, and Kenji. I also really enjoyed getting to know some of the people from Omega Point more. But for me the show stealer was Warner. I. Love. Him. He is  just so incredibly fascinating. I want to know everything about him. Also, I kind of want to make out with him. And I mean that in as non-creepy a way as possible.

I desperately wanted to read this one from the moment I finished Shatter Me. Very quickly Unravel Me had me invested, not simply because I enjoyed Shatter Me, but because it is so darn good in and of itself. The characters, the world building, the twists, the kissing (ohmystars… the kissing!!!!!!!!!!!!) I could fangirl on and on about how much I loved it. Instead of reading my ramblings you need to go out and get your hands on a copy ASAP!!!
