In My Mailbox
In my Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. The idea of In My Mailbox is to bring books to the attention of blog readers and to encourage interaction with other blogs.

I look and feel like death warmed over today so I’ll spare you the vlog. This weeks IMM could also be called the Cassandra Clare Edition! Clockwork Prince came out this week and there were a couple different editions as well as the signed copy you could order from Books of Wonder. The signed copy came with a shadowhunters poster too! Barnes & Noble had a copy with the inscription Will wrote to Tessa in A Tale of Two Cities. The Wal-Mart edition has a short story from Jem’s point of view. It’s of the night he met Tessa. So yes, I bought three copies of the book. However, one is for a giveaway and one is a Christmas gift so that makes it a bit better 😉 Here is a picture of all the copies and the poster (you can get a feel for how large the poster is!)
I also bought a paperback copy of Clockwork Angel with the short story “Magnus’ Vow” in it. It made me SO SAD!!

The Books!
I have an ARC of Clockwork Prince as well so I’ve already read it 🙂 You can read my review here

The other “bookish” thing that I got is this adorable “Laini’s Lady.” You can read more about them at this post on Laini Taylor’s blog. It was a gift line that she used to do. You can still find them on the internet. This one just spoke to my soul! The quotation says, “When I have a little money I buy books. If I have any left over, I buy food and clothes.”
