Okay, I admit it, I like these books. The reason this is difficult for me to admit is that I am not a huge fan of romance. Actually, maybe it’s just the connotation that I think of when I hear that a book is a “romance.” But, as I said, I like these. I like that they’re historical fiction, I like that there are strong female characters, and I like that they are just plain fun. The stories may be a bit predictable and there is always that something that is keeping the main characters apart (usually a misunderstanding of course.) But I can forgive them these faults, especially since I would be hard pressed to write anything remotely as entertaining. Read them. There like Sarah Dessen old school (WAY old school.)

The titles I’ve enjoyed include the ones pictured as well as “The Morning Gift” and “A Company of Swans.”
