Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR
There are so many books I’m looking forward to reading this fall. Each month I post my TBR for the month so I won’t be listing any of the books from my September TBR. (I don’t think I’m going to get them all read but I’m going to do my best!) Here are ten more I cannot wait to read:
Books I have:
Flamcaster by Cinda Williams Chima: I am obsessed with the Seven Realms series (The Demon King is book one!) Flamecaster is the first in a new series set in the same world. I cannot wait to devour it!!
Ten Thousand Skies by Claudia Gray: I really enjoyed A Thousand Pieces of You. It ended in a way that has me anxious to read book two.
The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness: Uh, it’s by Patrick Ness. I feel like that’s all the explanation you need.
The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine: I’ve never read anything by this author but I’ve been meaning to. This one sounds like a great place to start.
Persuasion by Martina Boone: I read and loved Compulsion earlier this year. I can’t wait to dive back into this Southern gothic tale.
Books I cannot wait to get my hands on:
Winter by Marissa Meyer: I’ve already had three students in the library asking for this one! We cannot wait to join the resistance!
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell: Fangirl is my favorite of Rainbow Rowell’s books. I cannot wait for more Simon and Baz!
All In by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: This series is the perfect blend of psychological thriller and high school drama with a dash of humor. I loved The Naturals and Killer Instinct.
Manners & Mutiny by Gail Carriger: This series was the most delightful surprise ever. I knew nothing about it going in but it was love! Etiquette & Espionage is the first book.
The Rose Society by Marie Lu: The Young Elites did a great job of grabbing my attention. I’m interested in seeing where book two takes us.
And, one special book I’m looking forward to re-reading this Fall is Hello? by Liza Wiemer. I read this book in manuscript form before it was sold. I fell in love and cannot wait to read the finished product! Liza is a dear friend and has written a compelling contemporary novel.
One HELLO? can change a life. One HELLO? can save a life.
Tricia: A girl struggling to find her way after her beloved grandma’s death.
Emerson: A guy who lives his life to fulfill promises, real and hypothetical.
Angie: A girl with secrets she can only express through poetry.
Brenda: An actress and screenplay writer afraid to confront her past.
Brian: A potter who sets aside his life for Tricia, to the detriment of both.Linked and transformed by one phone call, Hello? weaves together these five Wisconsin teens’ stories into a compelling narrative of friendship and family, loss and love, heartbreak and healing, serendipity, and ultimately hope.
Told from all five viewpoints: narration (Tricia), narration (Emerson), free verse poetry (Angie), screenplay format (Brenda), narration and drawings (Brian).
I don’t know that I’ll get to all these but I sure hope I do! What about you? What do you plan on reading this fall?

I loved Hello? and I am glad you loved it too. I am also looking forward to Carry On, Winter and The Rose Society. Fangirl is my favorite Rainbow Rowell book as well :D.

We’ve got a countdown at work for Carry On going. October 6 cannot get here soon enough. And now I’m adding yet another book to my TBR list with Hello?

Hi! I didn’t even know about that Rainbow Rowell book. I’ve added it to my list now. Ten Thousand Skies Above You has intrigued me just based on the cover! 🙂

I was so tempted to put Carry On but I have adored Rainbow Rowell and disliked her as well so I am not sure… I’ll look forward to reading your review.
