March TBR
So, as I predicted, February was a rough month for depleting the TBR! I only read about 9 books and two of them weren’t even on the list! ( I just couldn’t wait any longer to read Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story by David Levithan!!! Great life choice!!) I’m loving my new waitressing job but I’ve been working more hours than I at first anticipated PLUS I had a number of after school activities I agreed to do. So, yeah. A good portion of my February list didn’t get read. At least I got to the ones I requested for review!! I think I was much more realistic for March. Also, Spring Break factors in so that’s when I anticipate getting some catch-up done!
E-Reader TBR Shelf:
A book for review that I missed reading
I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson (How have I not read this yet?!?!)
For Review:
Black Dove, White Raven by Elizabeth Wein (Unsolicited, Release Date 3/31)
Read Between the Lines by Jo Knowles (Requested, Release Date 3/10)
In the Time of Dragon Moon by Janet Lee Carey (Requested, Release Date 3/24)
The Orphan Queen by Jodi Medows (e-galley, Release Date 3/10)
The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre (Requested, Release Date 4/7)
Sarah Dessen Re-Read:
I didn’t read ANY of the three for February so I’ll try to catch up on some in March. I really want to re-read these but I don’t think I’ll be waiting until I’m done with them to read Saint Anything! Here are the ones I need to read by the end of March to be “caught up” 🙂
Dreamland
This Lullaby
The Truth About Forever
Just Listen
Lock and Key
Along for the Ride
Series to Finish:
One of my 2015 goals was to finish at least on series a month! This month I picked a companion novel that I would have sworn I’d read but I really can’t remember it so I must not have! I read the first book when it came out so I may need to do re-read!
Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater
Physical TBR Shelf:
A book from my bookshelves that I haven’t gotten to yet.
Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan (WHAT?!? I love his books. I fail!)
Nonfiction:
Battle of the Bulge by Rick Atkinson (This is an upcoming release that sounded interesting to me.)
Audiobook:
I’m still working on finishing Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein. I might just pick up the book and read. The audio is great but I’m basically terrified it’s going to make me break down like Code Name Verity did! I’d rather read it all at once and be done with the suspense!
For March, I think I’ll try Graffiti Moon! It’s a fairly short audiobook (just over 6 hours) and I’ve heard great things. Also, it totally counts as a review book I missed!
