Top Ten Books on my Summer TBR Pile
Oh, so so so many books I want to read this summer!!!!!! This was hard to narrow down.
1. Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo: It’s finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot even! This is on my kindle right now. WHY AM I NOT READING IT?!?!
2. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins: Steph is such a fabulous storyteller and all around lovely person. I cannot wait to read more of Isla’s story! I mean, did you see the first two chapters? And the awesome preorder campaign?!?!?! I re-read Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door recently. I forgot that we meet Isla in ANNA!
3. The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black: Um, it’s Holly Black. And Faeries. Clearly this is one I cannot wait to dive in to!
4. The Map to Everywhere by Carrie Ryan and John Parke Davis: I love it when I get a different type of story from an author I love. This is a middle grade written by the amazing Carrie Ryan and her husband John Parke Davis. Check out the website for it. Doesn’t it look amazing?!?
5. Dissonance by Erica ‘Rourke: Alternante universes? Parallel realities? Yes, please!!! This books sounds perfect for me!
6. Breathe, Annie, Breathe by Miranda Kenneally: More Hundred Oaks! Yes!!! I love getting a new story that’s connected to a setting I’m already a fan of. Miranda Kenneally’s books really hit the spot.
7. Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead: Oy. After the way the last one ended I’ve been anxiously awaiting this one!
8. Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater: Cole. Enough said.
9. Mortal Heart by Robin LaFevers: More handmaidens of death! I cannot wait to see where Annith’s story takes us.
10. Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas: Chaol and Celaena and all of the awesome! This is gonna be great.
