I am so incredibly excited for the upcoming release of the The Fault in Our Stars movie. It’s almost embarrassing. John Green is a very favorite author of mine and The Fault in Our Stars is one of my favorite books. Everything I’ve been seeing about the movie gives my great hope that I’ll love it. I mean, check out the trailer:
Hope you had your tissues ready! Also, there are some of these great images:
Also, here’s a bit more about the film:
Hazel and Gus are two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them — and us – on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. Directed by Josh Boone
Screenplay by Scott Neustadter, based on the book by John Green

Definitely looking forward to the scene where they egg Monica’s car! I know that a lot of the fans who haven’t seen it yet love it already, and I do too. The liberation to seek revenge over an injustice. I just! It is so true to the book! <3 Ansel Elgort was able to deliver the lines so perfectly, felt like it was really Gus. And that was just watching clips..

I must be honest with you…. I have not read the book yet. I know, I know. Don’t hate on me. I want to, but I have been scared to. The subject matter is something that is very close and personal, and I tend to procrastinate or completely put of reading books like this one. I had sworn to never read this book, but then the movie previews started, and I admit, it looks really good and I really want to read it. I think the scene I am most looking forward to, after watching the previews, is the two MC’s meeting outside with the “metaphor” cigarette! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I haven’t read the book yet so I don’t have a favorite scene to mention but I am hoping to in the very near future. It sounds like a very good book and beautiful love story. Still trying to decide if I should read the book before or after seeing the film.
