About the Book: WHEN HARRY MET SALLY . . . for teens, from romantic comedy star Elizabeth Eulberg.

For Macallan and Levi, it was friends at first sight. Everyone says guys and girls can’t be just friends, but these two are. They hang out after school, share tons of inside jokes, their families are super close, and Levi even starts dating one of Macallan’s friends. They are platonic and happy that way.

Eventually they realize they’re best friends — which wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t keep getting in each other’s way. Guys won’t ask Macallan out because they think she’s with Levi, and Levi spends too much time joking around with Macallan, and maybe not enough time with his date. They can’t help but wonder . . . are they more than friends or are they better off without making it even more complicated?

From romantic comedy superstar Elizabeth Eulberg comes a fresh, fun examination of a question for the ages: Can guys and girls ever really be just friends? Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again — and one kiss away from true love?

My Thoughts: Elizabeth Eulberg fangirl for life. Seriously. I give thanks for the random box of ARCs that showed up on my doorstep, before I was even really blogging, that contained Prom and Prejudice. I’ve eagerly anticipated her next release ever since.

I have to admit, Better Off Friends was my most anticipated of all her books. I mean, it takes place in WISCONSIN people! My home state! And, and, and! It pays homage to the Packers, Culver’s, Friday Night Fish Fry, cheese curds, bubblers, and all things Wisconsin! How could it not be love?!?!

And boy, was it ever love! Macallan and Levi are great characters. I loved that the chapters alternated between the two. Even better? The short dialogues between the them that separate the chapters! So clever. Actually, everything about the book was clever! The story, the pacing, all the little things that add up to awesome!

If you’re looking for a light hearted and amazing romantic comedy that will leave you with a smile you can’t miss Better Off Friends!
