I feel the need to take a minute here and point out that I realize I lead a fairly charmed life! I have a fantastic independent bookshop only two and a half hours away so I can meet amazing authors and bloggers pretty regularly. I mean… seriously. I think I’ve met John Green (my all time favorite author!) at least six different times! Check out my page of awesome bookish people to see who I’ve met! Still, there are some people I’d love to meet!
Authors:
Neil Gaiman: Do I even need to explain this one?!? The man is pretty much amazing. His wife too. Also, he only lives a few hours from me. There has got to be an event somewhere near by!!
Robin McKinley: I adore all of her books! I’d love to meet her. She’s the reason I fell in love with fairy tale retellings.
J.K. Rowling: Duh.
Patrick Ness: His Chaos Walking books are pretty much amazing. Also, A Monster Calls was so incredibly heartbreaking and beautiful.
Melina Marchetta: Let’s continue the slew of authors who live in another country! LOVE this woman’s books!!
Sherman Alexie: Oh man. He’s pretty much incredible. Love his adult books as well as the YA stuff!
Jennifer Echols: She is one of my go to authors for a reliably good read. I’d love to meet her!
Harper Lee: Dream big 😉
