About the Book: Evie’s paranormal past keeps coming back to haunt her. A new director at the International Paranormal Containment Agency wants to drag her back to headquarters. The Dark Faerie Queen is torturing humans in her poisonous realm. And supernatural creatures keep insisting that Evie is the only one who can save them from a mysterious, perilous fate.

The clock is ticking on the entire paranormal world. And its fate rests solely in Evie’s hands.

So much for normal.

My Thoughts: Basically upon getting this book in the mail I had two main reactions. First, “YAY!!! Another Evie book!!!!!” This was quickly followed by, “NOOOOOO! THE LAST Evie book!!!” I was super excited to read more about Evie and Co. and to find out how the trilogy wraps up but of course I did not want it to be over. I just love the characters, the relationships and the world Kiersten White has created. I also really loved seeing what paranormal creatures would pop up. It’s so great when I get to the end of a trilogy and still care so much!

Endlessly was a very fitting end to the Paranormalcy trilogy. (If you can say that a book titled Endlessly is the end of something. Tricksy Kiersten!) I felt really satisfied with the way the three book story arc came together. All of the big questions were answered and there is closure but there is also room for the reader to imagine more. Maybe it’s just me but I really enjoy coming up with different futures for characters when there story ends!

It’s hard to write a review for a third book in a trilogy without giving spoilers of the previous books. Since I don’t want to do that I’ll just point out The three things that really stuck out to me.
*The dialog is so well done. It fits well with the characters and adds to the story. It’s not clunky or awkward but rather delightful.
*I love the relationships between the different characters. Throughout the series we really get to see these develop. Pretty much any time Evie is involved it’s going to be my favorite 🙂
*The humor blends so well with the more serious aspects of teh story. It’s not like, “Here is the funny part. Now, here is the serious part.” It’s just very natural and I can’t say enough about it!

If you haven’t checked out Paranormalcy yet WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!? These books are bleeping awesome! And as much as I loved them I cannot wait to read Mind Games and see another side of the author 🙂

NOTE:
I adore Kiersten White. I’ve met her at a few different events and conferences. She has been so good to me… giving book recommendations, answering questions my students had for authors, etc… So yeah, I think she’s great. HOWEVER, this does not affect the reviews I post here. If I didn’t like a book by her I just wouldn’t review it 🙂 Thankfully I adore her books too!
