In my Mailbox 9 (and various other tidbits)

January 10, 2011 In My Mailbox 5

In My Mailbox
In my Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. The idea of In My Mailbox is to bring books to the attention of blog readers and to encourage interaction with other blogs.
Book titles link to goodreads. Author names link to their website/blog.

This week is kind of a grab bag of info. First, I was sick for over a week so I didn’t get much done (in life or on the blog!) This also means that my IMM is pretty small this week. I didn’t buy a single book. I repeat… I didn’t buy a single book!! Yea me! I did get one from the library. It was HIGHLY recommended by Erica from The Book Cellar.

Another arrival (although clearly NOT in my mailbox!) was my new niece!! Isn’t she darling?
Look at all that dark hair!! Her big sister and big brother are so proud and excited 🙂
My last random bit of information is a winner announcement! The winners of my New Year’s Reading Resolutions giveaway are:
Melanie L. for Paper Towns
Lyan M. for Heist Society
Congratulations to both winners!
I’ll be posting a new contest today or tomorrow in honor of my fabulous blog and twitter followers! You’re the best!

Aww…so sorry to hear you were under the weather (though that is obvious since you managed not to buy any books!) …glad you’re feeling a bit better though. ^_^ The one you checked out from the library though….agreed, it’s suppose to be wonderful. Your niece is so cute! Best wishes to the new mom and dad.

Oh and congratulations to the winners too! *throws confetti* ^_^

Thanks for the love for my niece. I think she’s a keeper 🙂
