October 1, 2015 Monthly TBR 2

After two months of totally rockin’ my TBR pile I struggled something fierce in September! School started again and my allergies knocked me out for a week. I’m giving myself through this weekend to try and finish up a couple of the books I really want to get to still!! October is also a busy month and there are so many great books coming out! Can’t wait to dive in to some of these.

Series to Finish:
One of my 2015 goals was to finish at least on series a month!

Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was one of the first books I reviewed on this blog. Also, Jennifer Lynn Barnes was one of the first authors I ever met! I can’t believe I haven’t finished this series! Since Halloween is this month I thought werewolf books were appropriate 🙂 The two I still have to read are:

Trial by Fire
Taken by Storm

Physical TBR Shelf:
A book from my bookshelves that I haven’t gotten to yet.

I adored Emmy & Oliver so I want to read more by Robin Benway! I’ve had this book for years.

Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway

E-Reader TBR Shelf:
Either an e-book I bought or a book for review that I missed reading.

It’s been a while since I read a short story collection. This one has so many of my favorite authors.

Foretold edited by Carrie Ryan

Nonfiction:
I also made a goal to read one nonfiction a month.

I’ll have a post for the blog tour for this one later this month! Again, appropriately creepy for Halloween!
The Borden Murders: Lizzie Borden and the Trial of the Century
by Sarah Miller (release date 1/12/16)

Audiobook:

Are you seeing a theme? Another Halloween appropriate book! Also, another I’ve been meaning to read for years. The author narrates the audio I have as well. Bonus!

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

So, what about you? What are you planning to read this month?!?

I really love Trial by Fire even though I was kind of let down by the sequel. The sequel is still a good book but I had a few issues with it.

I’m going to be reading Snow Like Ashes this month because I’ve heard so much about it and I’m going to an event for Ice Like Fire, so I figure I better read the first book in the series before attending haha.

    Great post!
