*** NOTE: This is the third book in a series. The summary, review, and comments may be spoilery***

About the Book: It’s been two years since Conrad told Belly to go with Jeremiah. She and Jeremiah have been inseparable ever since, even attending the same college– only, their relationship hasn’t exactly been the happily ever after Belly had hoped it would be. And when Jeremiah makes the worst mistake a boy can make, Belly is forced to question what she thought was true love. Does she really have a future with Jeremiah? Has she ever gotten over Conrad? It’s time for Belly to decide, once and for all, who has her heart forever.

My Thoughts: Okay, I’m not really sure what to say here for two reasons. 1. All of my thoughts are majorly spoilery and 2. I’m still processing. I liked each book in this series individually but as I think about the series as a whole I’m not so sure how I feel about it. I’ve linked to my more spoilery thoughts at the end of the post. It’s probably WAY more than you wanted to know but it was really more to help me think it through than anything else 😉 DO NOT read it if you haven’t read the last book. It will ruin it for you!

Books one and two take place during consecutive summers. The third and final book is set two years after book two. I liked the jump in time. At first I was sad to miss a summer but it makes sense. Belly and Jeremiah are still together and finishing up their freshman and sophomore years of college. Conrad is at school in California and barely comes home to visit. Not much has changed since we last saw them. Then, at the beginning of book three everything goes crazy!

I read this book minutes after I finished book two. The way book two ended gave me no choice! Like the previous stories We’ll Always Have Summer is mostly told from Belly’s perspective. This time Conrad is the one who chimes in occasionally. It was really good to finally see what the hell he was thinking! Seriously… that boy!  Good intentions, poor followthrough! ***shakes head at Connie***

There isn’t much more I can say without major spoilers. I will say… somehow Susannah is still my favorite character!

If you haven’t given this series a try this summer would be a perfect time! All three books will be out so you can have the instant gratification of knowing what happens 🙂

I’m really looking forward to reading this! I’m not sure how I’ll like the time jump, but it’ll be nice to see the inner workings of Conrad. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it!
